US Quidditch Cup 10Kissimmee, Florida
Austin-Tindall Regional Park In partnership with Experience Kissimmee April 8-9, 2017 US Quidditch Cup 10 will be held on April 8-9, 2017 at the Austin-Tindall Regional Park in Kissimmee, Florida. Sixty of the league’s top quidditch teams will compete at this event in order to be crowned the national champion. “We are excited to welcome US Quidditch to Kissimmee’s Austin-Tindall Regional Park and to cheer on the athletes competing in the US Quidditch Cup 10,” said John Poole, Kissimmee Sports Director of Marketing and Development. “Our destination is home to unrivaled entertainment options and located minutes from Central Florida’s world-class theme parks including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort.” In 2013, Kissimmee was the location for the International Quidditch Association’s World Cup (now called US Quidditch Cup) with over 1,600 athletes from around the world descending upon the destination. Tickets will go live November 1, and registration information for teams who qualify through regional championships will be available in mid October. USQ recognizes that teams in the Northwest and West regions have often had higher travel costs than other regions for the national championship. To help alleviate costs for these teams, USQ is creating a grant program that will help offset the team registration fee. Information about the grant program will be available later this fall. Each USQ region hosts a regional championship to determine what teams qualify for the annual US Quidditch Cup. All official teams in the region are able to attend their regional championship and compete for an opportunity to be crowned the regional champion. VIP ExperienceEach VIP Package Includes:
