From Natalie DolingerIt took a huge, talented group to put on this one woman cabaret, or, as my brilliant director, Jay Hopkins says, "it takes a village to produce an idiot." I am grateful to the whole village. Timothy D. Turner who music directed - rehearsed with us, arranged songs, (and in some cases, had to chart them out completely) so the absolutely fabulous John B. DeHaas could play them beautifully . The ridiculously thorough Diana Hopkins who is so good at her job as AD/SM (sounds kinda dirty, doesn't it?) that I just had to wonder whether or not I needed a prop and I would find it in my hand. My elegant friends who lent their dancing, singing, encouraging, (and costuming) talents to this endeavor, David Almeida, David S Monge, and Patrick Hanna, ( who isn't on facebook.) Kenny Howard and the Abbey gave us seamless sound mixing, lovely lights, a comfy bar and a beautiful, cozy venue in which to perform. And finally a big thanks and wet, sloppy kiss to everyone who took the time on a Monday night to come see Trollops, Tyrants, and Tarts, (oh! my!) My heart is full.
