Saturday, October 6, 2007 - The Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grand Lakes

Lighthouse Central Florida spotlights their annual fundraising gala with this year’s theme, Puttin’ on The Ritz.  Top hats, spats and canes were the fashion of the day, and Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers epitomized Hollywood glamour on the big screen. Even Bonnie and Clyde made crime look fashionable.

All reservations include complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a gourmet meal created by the award-winning culinary team at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, wine service with dinner, and live music and dancing with The Syndicats.

So grab your spats and go where fashion sits, Puttin’ on the Ritz!
You can make a difference.

Registration starts at 5:30pm, at 6:00pm the Silent Auction will open, and at 9:00pm the Live Auction will commence.

Paying Tribute

Nothing is more fashionable than philanthropy, and this year Lighthouse Central Florida is proud to honor business icon, Donald T. Senterfitt, for his extraordinary volunteer service and exceptional commitment to our community. Mr. Senterfitt became involved with Lighthouse Central Florida out of sincere gratitude when his sister, Tilly, benefited from our services after she experienced devastating vision loss. He served on our board for ten years, and helped Lighthouse Central Florida grow in its ability to give back independence to people stricken with vision loss.

We are grateful to have the opportunity to show our gratitude as we highlight Mr. Senterfitt’s many achievements. We invite you to join us and help give people with low vision and blindness a chance to regain their independence.
