The program, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be led by award-winning artist Helen Howell. She will teach a one-week jewelry workshop for students 13 through 17 years old, who will learn waving and wire wrapping, using a variety of materials to create finished art pieces.

Starting with paper beads, the students will learn three-dimensional design, metal texturing and composing jewelry pieces.
The program will culminate Aug. 10 through 31 with Young Masters V, an exhibition of works created by the teens, at Atlantic Center for the Arts at Harris House.
